Remnant: From the Ashes gets a patch for next-gen consoles next week

Publisher Perfect World Entertainment and developer studio Gunfire Games have announced a patch for next-generation consoles on the official website of their co-op action RPG Remnant: From the Ashes.

The main purpose of this update is to improve Remnant: From the Ashes on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S in backward compatibility mode on consoles of the previous cycle.

In particular, the upcoming patch will add two modes of operation to Remnant: From the Ashes: quality (4K @ 30fps) on PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as performance (1080p @ 60fps) on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S.

The update will be released on May 13 this year. On the same day, Remnant: From the Ashes will appear in the digital store in the Microsoft Store and will add to the library of the Xbox Game Pass service for PC.

Remnant: From the Ashes takes place in a post-apocalyptic world invaded by monsters. Worlds visited by players are randomly generated, which increases the replay potential.

Remnant: From the Ashes debuted in August 2019 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Since then, the project’s sales, taking into account the two additions, have exceeded 2.5 million copies.

The developers clarify that users of the listed versions of Remnant: From the Ashes (for Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass) will have access to crossplay with players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S.
