Renaissance art and montypython humor: The Procession to Calvary is coming to PS4 before the end of the year

British game designer Joe Richardson has announced the PS4 version of his Montypython adventure The Procession to Calvary on the official PlayStation blog.

The Procession to Calvary is literally made up of Renaissance pieces: Richardson, by his own admission, “lovingly carved, glued, and assembled hundreds of famous paintings to create his game

In a press release, Richardson likened the development of The Procession to Calvary to a stroll through the Louvre, where he was locked for two years and squandered all his savings, from which by the end of the process were only pennies.

According to Richardson, The Procession to Calvary “pretends to be both smart and funny” The developer separately notes that the project contains “ass jokes”.

In The Procession to Calvary, you have to find a tyrant named Heavenly Peter. On the way to the goal, players will encounter strange personalities, including the “awkward street magician, strikingly similar to the Son of God

In terms of gameplay, The Procession to Calvary is a point-and-click quest. The game allows you to stab almost any unwanted character with a sword, but murders will not be left without consequences.

The Procession to Calvary was released in April this year for PC ( Steam ). The version for the Valve digital platform is sold for 259 rubles. The modest price is explained by the short duration – about two to three hours.
