Resident Evil Showcase 2 Set To Coming In April, Resident Evil Village And Resident Evil 7 Coming To Stadia
Following the release of the Resident Evil Village system requirements and the announcement of the open beta for Resident Evil Re: Verse, Capcom has made two more announcements related to the series.
The first announcement is the second installment of the Resident Evil Showcase. Capcom’s news show, dedicated to Resident Evil Village and the horror franchise in general, will return in April this year.
What exactly will be shown on the show? Capcom will not tell ahead of time. We will remind, during the last broadcast, confirmed the release date of Resident Evil Village and the existence of Resident Evil Re: Verse and also released a demo version of Maiden.
The second announcement is the upcoming release of Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 7 in the Google Stadia cloud service. Derevnya will replenish the assortment of Stadia on the day of release on other platforms and the Seven – on April 1.
At the same time, we are talking about the full (“gold”) edition of Resident Evil 7. The project will be available both for purchase and for free as part of the April selection for Stadia Pro subscribers.
Capcom timed such a powerful stream of announcements to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil series: the Japanese version of the first part of the franchise debuted on March 22, 1996, on the original PlayStation.
As for Resident Evil Village, it is scheduled for release on May 7 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, as well as Google Stadia. Until the end of spring, the game will receive a multi-platform demo.
