The full system requirements for Resident Evil Village have not yet been released, but AMD has already revealed what processor and graphics card it will need to run the ray-traced game.

Information about the “appetites” of the Resident Evil Village was found on the page of the official AMD website dedicated to the project, shortly after the announcement as part of the Radeon RX 6700 XT presentation video card.

As it became known, for Resident Evil Village without ray tracing, you will need (AMD cites its own production as benchmarks) a Ryzen 5 1600-level processor and a video card no worse than a Radeon RX 5700.

You will need a similar processor and a Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card to use this function comfortably for ray tracing. What indicators this configuration can provide, AMD does not specify.

Earlier it was also reported that, in addition to ray tracing, Resident Evil Village would offer AMD FidelityFX on the PC, AMD’s set of tools for enhancing image quality.

According to AMD Corporate Vice President Scott Herkelman, the PC version of the game “demonstrates the limits of the possible with ultra-realistic graphics based on the RE Engine .

The release of Resident Evil Village is expected on May 7 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Last week, Edge magazine announced the postponement of the premiere to June 22. Still, this information turned out to be erroneous.
