Resident Evil Village will have a photo mode and the ability to skip cutscenes

A Twitter user under the pseudonym WheresBarryB drew attention to the unannounced features of Resident Evil Village, disclosed (specifically or not) in a recent IGN video.

Last Friday, we will remind you that the American portal shared a 5-minute video of the gameplay of Resident Evil Village, recorded on the console of the last generation – PlayStation 4 Pro.

In addition to the opportunity to look at the version of the project for the set-top box of the previous cycle, the demo contains a mention of two functions – photo mode and skipping intro videos.

The built-in tool for creating and editing screenshots in the Resident Evil series games has not yet been at all, and the option to skip the screensavers was absent specifically in Resident Evil 7.

It is worth noting that the prompt for activating the photo mode appears during the intro video. However, the ability to save images from the game will likely be available within the gameplay.

Capcom is committed to the second edition of its Resident Evil Showcase news show by the end of April. Confirmation of both functions may take place within the framework of the upcoming show.

The release of Resident Evil Village is expected on May 7 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. Capcom has previously provided the system requirements for the project.
