Respawn employees reveal how Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order looked long before release

Various employees of Respawn Entertainment in their personal microblogs decided to mark the anniversary of the Jedi action Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by publishing short videos showing the pre-release version of the game.

A rush from the creators of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (one month late) coincided with the Blocktober initiative, in which developers show the levels of their games in the planning stage.

In particular, combat designer Jason de Heras demonstrated how some enemies looked in the game before release, and level designer Nicholas Cameron demonstrated locations.

The biggest contributor to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s kind of anniversary celebration came from Respawn Entertainment Design Director Jeff Magers, who posted a series of themed tweets.

For example, in the course of internal testing of the Jolt section, a huge, poorly detailed Yoda figurine was used as an important scenario object.

The Twisted Voxel portal has collected all videos from Respawn Entertainment employees showing the pre-release version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in one video on their YouTube channel.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released on November 15, 2019, on PC (Steam, Origin, Epic Games Store), PS4, and Xbox One, and on November 24, 2020, it will reach Google Stadia. According to rumors, Respawn Entertainment is already working on a sequel.
