Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the world’s first 14-inch laptop with Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics
Asus’ brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a special edition of the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop, the fruit of a collaboration with a “renowned tech clothing brand” Acronym. This version should be on sale on September 18th.
ROG Zephyrus G14 custom edition designed in collaboration with Acronym
The concept of the device was developed by one of the founders of Acronym, designer Errolson Hugh, who proceeded from his own ideas about the needs of the user of a powerful portable laptop.
“We want users to perceive the product as a tool and use it more actively. Sometimes we take technology for granted and let it into our daily lives as passive observers. We only receive information, instead of creating something new ourselves, ”- this is how Hugh described his vision of development.
The special edition of the laptop is said to make its unique design features even more expressive. To bring the concept developed by the Acronym design studio to live required “special materials, unique manufacturing techniques, and processing methods, specially developed paints and two new original fonts.”
More specifically, there are delicate engravings on the sides to emphasize that the Zephyrus G14 ACRNM RMT01 is “an innovative device built with the latest technology.” Along with the carbon black finish, a closer look at the surface of the case reveals schematic drawings “that you want to look at in great detail.” In addition, eight exclusive animations have been created for the secondary AniMe Matrix display. The designers even touched on the packaging, bringing it “in line with the Acronym philosophy”. The Airpak, which is packed inside the box, can be reused or recycled.
From a technical point of view, the laptop does not differ from the original model.
