Role-playing action the Ascent postponed to 2021

Studio Neon Giant announced the postponement of the release of the action RPG The Ascent to 2021. This is reported on the Xbox website. The reasons for the transfer are not named, but the developers said they want to release the game “in the best possible form for the Xbox Series.”

The developers emphasized that work is progressing and they expect to release the game in 4K with 60fps support.

The Ascent is a top-down RPG action shooter. The game takes place in a dystopian future, where the largest planetary corporation has ceased its work. Because of this, the world plunged into chaos, and the player will have to figure out the reasons for what happened. At the end of May, IGN posted a five-minute demo of the game’s gameplay.

The game will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
