Rumors: Krafton is developing PUBG 2 with realistic surroundings and shooting, as in the first part
An insider under the pseudonym PlayerIGN, who specializes in Krafton games and, particularly, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has shared a new piece of interesting information. According to him, PUBG 2 is currently in development, which will feature realistic surroundings and shooting mechanics, as in the first part.
In a personal microblog, PlayerIGN wrote: “An insider source told me: Krafton is developing PUBG 2; [this is] a battle royale based on realism, not futuristic. New developers, including those already working on other battle royals, were hired into the existing PUBG Studio; they did not create a new [team]. “
PlayerIGN ‘s next post reads: “The involvement of the current developers [in production] could mean that PUBG 2 will recreate the same shooter mechanics as the original game. ” The insider clarified the futuristic surroundings for a reason – he recently talked about a secret PUBG Studio project called Project Vertical. It will have an open world, robots, and sci-fi surroundings. Judging by the new data, this is not PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds 2.
