The novelty has a set of smart functions that are based on the embedded Tizen 5.5 operating system. For example, you can use Microsoft Office 365 applications, Netflix services, HBO, YouTube, and others. Interaction with the intelligent voice assistant Bixby 2.0 is supported.

A Wi-Fi 5 wireless adapter is used to connect to a computer network. In addition, there is a Bluetooth 4.2 controller. Through the USB Type-C interface, a laptop can be connected to the monitor using a single cable: in this case, up to 65 W of energy is transmitted.

Two HDMI 2.0 connectors are available to use the novelty in normal mode. The equipment includes 5-watt stereo speakers and a USB hub for connecting peripheral devices.

The monitor is based on a flat 32-inch VA matrix with a 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels). The brightness is 250 cd / m 2, the contrast is 3000: 1. The panel has a response time of 8 ms, horizontal and vertical viewing angles up to 178 degrees, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

Sales of new items begin today, November 16. Samsung will also release monitors of the M5 series with similar capabilities: these models will receive a Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) screen with a diagonal of 32 and 27 inches.
