Samsung develops fully wireless earbuds Galaxy Buds2
South Korean giant Samsung Electronics is designing new fully wireless submersible (TWS) headphones according to online sources. The device will be part of the Galaxy Buds product family.
The mention of the novelty was found in the Galaxy Wearable mobile application code, which serves to control the functions of wearable gadgets and their connection to a smartphone.
The earbuds are codenamed “berry” and named Galaxy Buds2. Observers believe that they will replace the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds + models released in 2019-2020.
There is still little information on the characteristics of the Galaxy Buds2. It is only noted that users will be able to pair with several devices at once. Obviously, compared to its predecessors, the sound quality will improve, and the battery life will increase.
The official presentation of the novelty is expected this year. Unfortunately, other details have not been disclosed yet.
Strategy Analytics estimates that more than 300 million Bluetooth headphones of all types were shipped globally last year, including full-size on-ear models. Simultaneously, the TWS segment recorded an almost twofold growth: sales increased by almost 90%.
