Samsung Galaxy A52 and A52 5G smartphones presented with Snapdragon processors and Super AMOLED screens
Samsung has officially presented in Russia a mid-range smartphone, Galaxy A52, running the Android 11 operating system, capable of operating in 4G LTE networks. In the global market, this model will also be available in the Galaxy A52 5G version, with support for fifth-generation networks.
The 4G version carries a Snapdragon 720G processor onboard: the product contains eight Kryo 465 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz, an Adreno 618 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem. The amount of RAM is 4, 6, or 8 GB.
The 5G version is endowed with a Snapdragon 750G chip: it combines eight Kryo 570 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz, an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator, and a 5G modem. The size of the RAM is 6 or 8 GB.
Smartphones received a 6.5-inch FHD + Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. Simultaneously, the refresh rate for the 4G version is 90 Hz, for the 5G version – 120 Hz.
Both versions have a total of five cameras available. At the front, there is a 32-megapixel unit with a maximum aperture of f / 2.2. The quad rear camera incorporates a 64-megapixel module with optical stabilization, a 12-megapixel unit with wide-angle optics, and two 5-megapixel sensors.
The new products’ equipment includes a drive with a capacity of 128 or 256 GB, wireless adapters, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 5.0, an NFC controller, a 4500 mAh battery with support for 25-watt charging.
“The new Galaxy A series has a fresh look that is simple and uncluttered, with rounded edges and a minimal bezel around the camera,” notes Samsung.
In Russia, the Galaxy A52 begins today: the price is $363.96 and $444.87 rubles, respectively, for 128 and 256 GB. In turn, the Galaxy A52 5G will be available in Europe at $5.80.
