Galaxy S23 buyers can rest assured that Android 17 is coming to these phones

The Samsung Galaxy S23 debuted with Android 13 and One UI 5.1 preinstalled. Later, other phones of the company will receive this interface, but the Galaxy S23 itself will be updated for a very long time.

The company guarantees four major updates – this means that any model of the Galaxy S23 line will receive Android 17. But even after that, support will not stop – Samsung will release security updates for the Galaxy S23. First monthly, then quarterly. And only in 2028, software support for the Galaxy S23 will be terminated.

Samsung’s longevity of software support is unmatched by any other Android smartphone manufacturer. Even Google only guarantees three big Android updates for its current flagships Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
