The head of Qualcomm said that the proprietary SoC will be used in “most” Galaxy S24. And this is much more interesting: in fact, the top manager confirmed the rumor that some of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus models will use Samsung’s own single-chip system – Exynos 2400.
Let us remember that the current line of Samsung flagships uses only Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 – the company did this deliberately, since the alternative SoC of Samsung’s own design could not provide a similar level of performance. Interestingly, according to the first tests, the Exynos 2400 is noticeably inferior to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but it seems that this time the performance factor no longer bothers Samsung.
