Samsung is the first company in South Korea to have its own COVID-19 test center. The Korean giant announced the opening of such a facility in the city of Hwaseong a few hours ago. The laboratory itself has become part of Samsung’s semiconductor manufacturing plant.
Samsung has acquired its own center for testing COVID-19
Within the laboratory, six medical staff will be responsible for managing sample collection, testing, and other related tasks.
Samsung said its own testing center will save the company time in the era of the coronavirus pandemic, as the company has a huge workforce. The company also said it would consider opening similar centers at its other manufacturing sites in South Korea.
