Samsung has come up with a completely transparent smartphone with unique controls
Samsung, according to the resource LetsGoDigital, has patented a smartphone with a unique design: the design provides for the presence of a completely transparent body.
A description of the novelty appeared on the websites of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). LetsGoDigital employees have partnered with designer Snoreyn to create high-quality renders of an unusual device.
It is said that the basis of the smartphone will be a transparent display based on organic light-emitting diode (OLED). The device will implement new modes of use. By allowing users to see their fingers on the back of the device, the touch-back control system can be applied.
Unfortunately, no technical details were disclosed. But it can be assumed that the main electronic components will be concentrated in the area of the framework. It is likely that Samsung is also exploring the possibility of using a number of transparent elements.
Alas, while a unique smartphone exists only on paper. It is hardly worth expecting that such a device will appear in one or another working form in the foreseeable future.
