Samsung is preparing a 4G version of the Galaxy A72 smartphone based on Snapdragon 720G

As we already know, Samsung is preparing to release the fifth-generation Galaxy A72 5G smartphone. New information suggests that this mid-range device will also be released for 4G / LTE networks.

The 5G version of the device is credited with having a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display, a very powerful Exynos 1080 processor with an integrated 5G modem, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, and a quad rear camera.

As for the 4G variant, it appeared today in the popular Geekbench benchmark. The device has the code SM-A725F and operates under the Android 11 operating system. The test indicates the use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. The chip contains eight Kryo 465 processing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz, an Adreno 618 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X15 LTE modem. The amount of RAM is listed at 8 GB.

It is known that the new product will be equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. The dimensions are called – 165 × 77.4 × 8.1 mm (in the area of ​​the rear camera, the thickness increases to 9.9 mm).
