Samsung to release more affordable flagship Galaxy S21 Fan Edition in the second half of the year
The SamMobile resource reports that Samsung is preparing to release a new productive smartphone: the device may debut on the commercial market under the name Galaxy S21 Fan Edition.
The device is codenamed SM-G990B. It is known that the novelty will receive support for fifth-generation (5G) mobile networks, and the Android 11 operating system will be used as a software platform.
It is not clear yet about the processor used. But it is known that buyers will choose between modifications with a flash drive with a capacity of 128 and 256 GB.
It is reported that the official presentation of the device will take place approximately in the second half of this year. The device will be offered in various colors, including silver, pink, purple, and white.
According to IDC estimates, in 2020, the South Korean giant Samsung shipped 266.7 million smartphones globally, ranking first in the ranking of the leading industry players with a share of approximately 20.6%.
