Sea of ​​Solitude Adventure Coming to Nintendo Switch with The Director’s Cut in March 2021

At the pre-show for The Game Awards 2020, Jo-Mei Games announced their adventure game Sea of ​​Solitude. It will be released on Nintendo Switch in a platform-exclusive edition of The Director’s Cut. According to the developers, the project was changed in such a way as to raise important topics in it today.

The announcement was accompanied by a fresh trailer for Sea of ​​Solitude. It shows the main character Kei travelling through a world that is mostly flooded with water. The girl solves puzzles in order to move on and encounters huge fantastic monsters. They act as a kind of obstacles in the way of Kei and are able to kill the protagonist.

Thanks to the fresh trailer, it also became known what changes will be implemented in the version of The Director’s Cut. These include new scripts, which most likely mean gameplay mechanics or individual puzzles, audio, photo mode, gyro support, and more.

Sea of ​​Solitude: The Director’s Cut will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2021. The game will be published on the new platform by the French studio Quantic Dream, which has decided to step up its activities in this direction.
