Sega has no plans to release Lost Judgment on PC
Journalists of The Tojo Dojo portal noticed Steam and Windows 10 on the official website of the detective action Lost Judgment, but this, apparently, does not say anything about Sega’s plans.
As a reminder, Lost Judgment was presented last Friday, May 7, on a special broadcast by Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. The game is officially announced for PlayStation and Xbox consoles only.
It was all the more surprising to see icons for Steam and Windows 10 in the list of target platforms of Lost Judgment on its official Japanese website. The discrepancy was quickly eliminated, but traces of what had happened remained in the page code.
The publication PC Gamer has decided to ask Sega about the incident and clarify Lost Judgment will be released on the PC or not. A company spokesman assured that there are no plans “at the moment” to port the game to PC.
In other words, if the new detective action Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio ever make it to the PC, it will not happen at the same time as the console premiere of the project.
It is worth noting that the original Judgment did not appear on PC either: the project debuted on PS4 in December 2018 (Japanese release), and after almost two and a half years in remaster format, it reached PS5 Xbox. Series X, Xbox Series S, and Google Stadia …
Lost Judgment will go on sale on September 24 this year for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. The game is a direct sequel to the first part with private detective Takayuki Yagami in the title role.
