A new study by Autostat suggests that Chinese crossovers have stopped losing value as much as before
Autostat published a study that identified the most liquid four-year crossovers in Russia based on the results of the third quarter of 2023. And the rating looks interesting: there is one Korean car, one European, one Japanese and two “Chinese” at once. This is further proof that Chinese cars no longer lose value as much as before, and they are quite easy to sell.
Sell a four-year-old Hyundai Creta to get back 160% of the cost.
In first place is the Hyundai Creta: if you sell it now, you can get back almost 160% of the amount paid when buying it four years ago. The top 3 also included Chery Tiggo 4 and Renault Duster, and the top 5, in addition to them, included Changan CS35 Plus and Toyota RAV4.
“ The reason for such a high residual value is the increase in car prices, which has continued all these years, and in certain periods has sharply intensified ,” explained Autostat.
