Sharp Aquos Zero 5G Basic smartphone gets 240 Hz display and fresh Android 11
Sharp Corporation has expanded its range of smartphones by announcing a very interesting new product – the Aquos Zero 5G Basic model: this is one of the first commercial devices running the Android 11 operating system.
The device is equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED display in Full HD + format with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The panel has the highest refresh rate of 240 Hz. A fingerprint scanner is built directly into the screen area.
The computing load is carried by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which contains eight Kryo 475 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz and an Adreno 620 graphics accelerator. The integrated X52 modem provides support for fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks.
The smartphone’s arsenal includes a 16.3-megapixel front camera located in a small screen cutout. The triple rear camera combines a 48-megapixel unit with a maximum aperture of f / 1.8, a module with a 13.1-megapixel sensor and wide-angle optics (125 degrees), and an 8-megapixel telephoto unit with a maximum aperture of f / 2.4.
The device has Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1 adapters, an NFC controller, and a USB Type-C port. IP65 / 68 certification means moisture-proof. Dimensions are 161 × 75 × 9 mm, weight – 182 g. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4050 mAh.
The novelty will be available in versions with 6 and 8 GB of RAM, equipped with 64 and 128 GB drives, respectively. The price was not disclosed.
