Smartphone ASUS ZenFone 8 was noted in Geekbench with Snapdragon 888 processor
This year, ASUS is expected to announce ZenFone 8 series smartphones. Information about one of the representatives of this family appeared in the popular Geekbench benchmark.
The device appears under the designation ASUS_I004D. According to some sources, this is the basic model of ZenFone 8, according to others – a more powerful modification of ZenFone 8 Pro.
The benchmark talks about using the Lahaina motherboard. This codename hides the flagship platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 888: the processor combines eight computing cores with a frequency of up to 2.84 GHz, an Adreno 660 accelerator, and a Snapdragon X60 5G modem.
The version tested was equipped with 8GB of RAM, but observers believe the ZenFone 8 series devices will carry up to 16GB of RAM. Operating system – Android 11.
Earlier it was also reported that the family would include the ZenFone 8 Mini model. Moreover, she supposedly, like her older brothers, will carry a Snapdragon 888 chip on board.
The devices are credited with having a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a PTZ camera. The timing of the announcement was not disclosed.
