“Something legendary”: the authors of Titan Quest hint at the imminent announcement of the next part

HandyGames has posted an image on Twitter that refers to the action RPG Titan Quest. It features two female warriors, as well as the inscription “2021”. Perhaps the developer is hinting at the imminent announcement of the hotly anticipated second part by fans.

On the social network, HandyGames wrote: “We are working on something legendary! Guess what! ”  Fans hope that this is not another addition to Titan Quest: Anniversary, but a full-fledged new part of the action role-playing game that has long been asking.

Also, in responses to the post, users remembered Timesplitters, because HandyGames is owned by Koch Media (THQ Nordic), which acquired the rights to the franchise in 2018. A year later, she confirmed the development of a new game in the series with one of its creators. But obviously, the image is not Timesplitters.

The original Titan Quest was released in 2006 for PC. 10 years later, the project was ported to mobile platforms by DotEmu, and the Anniversary Edition was reissued on computers. THQ Nordic later released the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch as an updated Anniversary Edition. Titan Quest received three expansions: Immortal Throne (2007), Ragnarok (2017) and Atlantis (2019).
