Sony has announced that it will no longer provide after-sales service for certain PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, and PlayStation VR headsets.

Sony reportedly ended after-sales service for the PlayStation 4 CUH-2100 (PS4 Slim model) at the end of October. Sony also stated that it will stop servicing the PlayStation 4 Pro CUH-7100 as of December 20, 2023.

Currently, most Sony products from the PS4 era have been discontinued, and Sony continues to promote the PS5 gaming console ecosystem. It’s been three years since the first generation PS5 was released. Sony recently announced that the new PS5 Slim model will hit the Chinese mainland market on December 1st.
