A startup called Sightful has unveiled a new unusual Spacetop laptop that combines a keyboard with AR glasses. At the same time, the novelty does not have a display; instead, the equivalent of a 100-inch screen is generated in glasses. This image will be superimposed on the real world.
At the same time, the fact that the laptop simply does not have the hardware to support such a system is funny. For him, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory are announced. The operating system is Spacetop OS.
Spacetop Laptop with 100″ Virtual Display
The laptop is credited with about 5 hours of battery life, two USB Type-C ports with support for DisplayPort 1.4 mode, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and 5G adapters. The screen resolution will be 2560 x 1920 pixels for pixels.
Prices and launch dates for Spacetop are not yet known. But the company is already promising early access.
