And earlier, Roskmos could boast of this

Russia used to be a key country when it came to commercial launches of spacecraft, but now (after 2022) everything has changed: the number of commercial launches carried out by Roscosmos has fallen to a minimum, which allowed Elon Musk’s SpaceX to become a virtual monopoly in the market.

SpaceX has become a monopoly in the global market for launch services

The Wall Street Journal quotes former US Air Force comic operations officer John Holst as saying: “The fact is that competitors can’t present anything right now, and this makes SpaceX a de facto monopoly .” The publication writes that SpaceX has captured most of the market, including thanks to the Falcon 9 rocket, which can fly at a frequency inaccessible to competitors. And this, in turn, allows us to offer customers more attractive prices for launch services.

The Wall Street Journal also cites the words of American astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell, who maintains detailed statistics on Starlink satellites on his planet4589.org resource. He said SpaceX rockets powered 66% of customer flights from US launch sites in 2022 and 88% in the first six months of 2023.
