Steam Weekly Chart: Valheim Stays For Seventh Consecutive Week, Outriders Top Ten Before Release

Valve has published a list of the top ten games that have brought the most revenue on Steam over the past week. From March 15 to March 21, Valheim remained on the first line (it is in the lead for the seventh time ). Co-op shooter Outriders, which will be released on April 1, entered the top ten.

Valheim has not left the number one spot since its release. At the end of last week, developers from the Iron Gate studio reported  6 million copies of the game sold. Currently, the Scandinavian “sandbox” has the highest user rating in the store among all releases in 2021 (96% of almost 166 thousand reviews are positive). During the last week, the maximum daily number of players remained at about the same level – about 215-260 thousand (over the last day – 258 263). Now the developers are still focused on testing and fixing bugs, but more and more time is spent working on the first major update, Hearth and Home.

Forza Horizon 4 dropped out of the top five, with one edition now in seventh and the second (which was in fourth) in the eighth. The Valve Index VR helmet kit has risen from the fourth line to the second. The tactical roguelike Loop Hero from the Russian studio Four Quarters dropped from third to fourth, and its place went to Grand Theft Auto V, which returned to the top 10 thanks to large discounts (from 52% to 63% depending on the edition).

DLC Operation Broken Fang for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has moved from the seventh position to the fifth. Next – Red Dead Redemption 2, which until April 1 is offered with a 33% discount (Ultimate Edition – with a 40 % discount ). Chinese 2D RPG 鬼谷 八荒 (Tale of Immortal) has moved from the sixth line to the tenth. Stronghold: Warlords strategy, which started from ninth place last week, dropped out of the top ten.

Users can actively pre-order the co-op shooter Outriders from People Can Fly and Square Enix, which puts it in ninth position. The early purchase option appeared back in February 2020. On February 25, 2021, the developers released a free demo, also available on Steam. It is trendy: over 2 million players tested it in the first week. The full version will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S, and Google Stadia on April 1st. On Microsoft consoles, the game will immediately add  to the Xbox Game Pass catalog
