And the screenshot itself looked suspicious. Especially the part that talked about the smartphone platform – Samsung Exynos 990 single-chip system.
The authoritative network informant Xiaomishka helped to understand the situation. He confirmed that the screenshot is a fake. The source noted that the quality of the picture leaves much to be desired, and there is also no required Result Information field with the date and time of verification. There is also a lack of similar results in the Geekbench database. For example, Xiaomishka created a similar screenshot for the fictional Redmi 10E smartphone.
Note that the Exynos platform causes a lot of complaints from users of international versions of Samsung smartphones. Many are frankly jealous of American versions based on Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, which wins in performance. On this occasion, even a petition was created demanding to stop discrimination and stop selling “second-class” smartphones.
One of the most recent illustrative examples – the Samsung Galaxy S20 + based on Exynos 990 could not stand the comparison in the game test with the inexpensive Redmi Note 8 Pro based on the MediaTek Helio G90T, despite the five-fold price difference.
