The three-minute video is divided into two parts: the first 40 seconds, the developers show local locations, while the rest of the time is devoted to battles against ordinary enemies and bosses.

The demonstration also allows you to evaluate some of the main characters’ abilities: the ability to freeze enemies in place or transform into a boulder on legs (to protect against enemy arrows).

The video ends with the appearance of a huge upright bull (see image above) – Game Science Studio notes that the trailer was created in honor of the Chinese New Year and did not reflect the game’s plot.

Recall that Black Myth: Wu Kong is a single-player action-adventure. The game is based on the Chinese classic novel Journey to the West.

Black Myth: Wu Kong is being developed for PC and “all major consoles. ” The project will not be released soon: in September 2020, the authors mentioned that the premiere would take place no earlier than three years later.

Production for Black Myth: Wu Kong began in 2018. The action is based on Unreal Engine 4. The previous demonstration, according to the journalist of the Chinese branch of IGN, was not staged.
