According to Amazon’s updated rating, since the announcement, the Super Mario collection has managed to reach second place in sales for 2020, losing only to the main hit of recent months in the face of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Behind the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection has left both other games of the current year ( The Last of Us Part II, Paper Mario: The Origami King ) and hits of past years (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ).
