System Requirements, PS5 Upgrade Details and Oddworld: Soulstorm Gameplay Trailers Revealed
Oddworld Inhabitants has released trailers for the main gameplay aspects of the Oddworld: Soulstorm adventure. The studio also provided details of the project’s upgrade from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 and recommended system requirements.
The PS5 version of Oddworld: Soulstorm will be included in the April PlayStation Plus compilation, and therefore, service subscribers will be able to get it for free. Because of this, Inhabitants Oddworld «will not offer a free backward compatibility with PlayStation 5 on the PlayStation 4″.
If you buy the game on PlayStation 4, you will also receive the current generation console version for free. With the boxed version, it’s much the same; with the purchase of Oddworld: Soulstorm on the disc, you are entitled to a digital edition of the game for the PlayStation 5.
On PlayStation 5, users will be able to get prompts and watch videos with step-by-step instructions from the comfort of Oddworld: Soulstorm. Since the instructions will be limited to the player’s current progress, there is no risk of running into a spoiler. Notably, this feature requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
As for the system requirements for Oddworld: Soulstorm, they are not very high. To play comfortably at low settings, you will need:

- processor: Intel quad-core with a clock speed of 1.7 GHz;
- video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670;
- RAM: 8 GB.
Recommended system requirements:

- RAM: 16 GB.
Oddworld: Soulstorm will be released on April 6 on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
