Techland Denies Leak Dying Light 2 Coming In May 2021

Techland hasn’t shared details on Dying Light 2 for quite some time. In November, it said the development was “progressing smoothly,” and more than two weeks ago promised to share “exciting news” soon. Meanwhile, in the Australian games store, they found the estimated release date of the project – May 25, 2021. However, Techland was quick to deny this information.

Players paid attention to the indicated release date since it does not look like a regular stub (as a rule, it is the last number of a quarter or half a year). Twitter user AlfieriAle86 directly asked Techland if the release of the sequel to Dying Light on May 25, 2021, was accurate. They answered him from the official account of the project: “This is just a stub. We had a similar situation last year when stores listed December 2020 as the release window

Recall: Techland published the last gameplay demo of Dying Light 2 back in August 2019. And since screenwriter Chris Avellone was fired from the project, the developers have not shown a single screenshot.

Dying Light 2 will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Series S.
