Telegram update released: voice chats, post-sending photo editing and more
The Telegram development team has released an update to the messenger for mobile devices. In the application, you can now create audio conferences between participants in chats, there are tools for editing photos even after they are sent, new animated emoji and more.
In any group chat, you can now start voice chat in parallel with the correspondence. It is noteworthy that the voice chat is always open, and anyone can join it at any convenient moment. A list of voice chat participants is also displayed. For Android smartphone users, a floating voice chat window can be displayed on top of other applications. In this mode, you can control the microphone and, if desired, view who is speaking in the chat. Telegram users on computers can choose a keyboard shortcut that can quickly turn on or off the microphone.
It is also reported about the animation update for Android, the acceleration of the loading of stickers. In addition, the Android client now has the ability to edit photos after sending it (for example, you can apply a picture, text or stickers). Also, Telegram for Android now supports the ability to save data to a memory card. Telegram users on iOS got deeper integration with Siri – now the voice assistant can read incoming messages.
The update is already available on Google Play and the App Store. Even today, Pavel Durov shared his plans to monetize the messenger in his telegram channel.
