The super-popular Tesla Model 3 electric car in the US can now be bought for just over $30,000.

This is not about a promotion or a temporary price reduction. The fact is that Tesla managed to get the maximum tax credit that is available in the US. It’s 7500 dollars. 

As a result, those buyers who qualify for such a discount can buy the base Model 3 for as little as $30,300. Just a few days ago, the tax credit was only $3,750 because the batteries for the Model 3 came from China. How Tesla managed to get the maximum discount is not clear, but it is possible that American-made batteries are now used.
