Lucid explains how developers use The Wall
Lucid Motors said it’s using Samsung’s 255-inch The Wall TV, which helps the automaker design cars faster because it’s so large it can display them at life-size.
According to Samsung, The Wall uses MicroLED technology to create a 255-inch display that can display vehicles in life-scale and accurate colors. This helps create realistic images with accurately reproduced reflections and light.

“Samsung The Wall has revolutionized the way our design and engineering teams work together,” said Jenny Ha, exterior design manager at Lucid. “With this technology, we can easily visualize design data, including engineering feedback and simulation results, allowing us to quickly assess the impact of any changes on the overall design.”
Lucid Motors used The Wall to create the Air Sapphire, a 1,200 hp version of its all-electric super sedan. It can accelerate to 96 km/h in less than two seconds, the car is equipped with new wheels, a new carbon fiber spoiler, and a Sapphire Blue body color.
Jenny Ha states that her team used the screen from initial concept sketches to final revisions. The size and detail made it possible to see everything, down to the smallest detail.
