The interface will change a lot

Apple in the watchOS 10 operating system will focus on widgets.

Well-known Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman claims that a completely new widget system will debut in the new OS. Widgets will become a central part of the watchOS interface, which means that the interface itself will change dramatically due to widgets.

The new interface will resemble the Siri watch face that was introduced in watchOS 4. It will also be similar to the widget stacks found in iPadOS and iOS.

The Apple Watch is about to change a lot.

The plan is to let users scroll through a range of different widgets — for activity tracking, weather, stock quotes, calendar appointments, and more — instead of forcing them to launch apps.

In addition, Apple is testing new features for the physical buttons on its watches. For example, pressing the digital wheel will launch a new kind of widget instead of going to the home screen.
