The authors of Monster Hunter Rise showed the capabilities of the character editor, including palico and palamutes

The developers of Monster Hunter Rise in the official microblog of the series have published another video dedicated to one of the gameplay features of the upcoming action RPG Capcom.

The video, which is just over a minute long, demonstrates the capabilities of the local character editor using the example of the player’s hero, the malamute sled dog, and the anthropomorphic palico cat.

The most attention (almost two-thirds of the total timekeeping) in the passage is given to the malamute: the dog will be allowed to set the color, adjust the color of the coat, determine the shape of the eyes, ears, and tail.

In the case of the hunter and palico, the developers showed a set of options for individualizing a person and a cat, as well as how the character’s appearance changes under the influence of certain parameters.

Previously, the Monster Hunter Rise team showed off options for interacting with malamutes and palikos. Dogs in the game can be stroked and trained, and cats can be picked up, teased with a treat, and exchanged a secret handshake with them.

Let us remind you that both malamutes and palikos will be allowed to be taken along on the adventure as companions. In single-player mode, the hero will be able to take two such assistants, in multiplayer mode – one.

Monster Hunter Rise will go on sale on March 26, 2021, exclusively for Nintendo Switch, starting at RUB 4,499. In October, the producer of the Monster Hunter franchise spoke about why Capcom changed the principles of naming the games in the series.
