Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC makes its way into the low-cost segment
The AnTuTu benchmark team has published the latest ratings of the best Android smartphones in terms of price and performance in different price categories – as of the end of September 2023.

In the cheapest category (up to $274), the first place continues to be occupied by the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, but the Redmi Note 11T Pro has dropped to third place, behind the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition.

In the category from 2000 to 2999 yuan (from 275 to 411 dollars) there is a real revolution – a smartphone based on the flagship SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 has entered this fairly budget segment. Of course, it immediately took first place – Nubia Z50. AnTuTu experts called it “crazy” because for $343 you can buy a device with “the most powerful Android platform yet.” Lenovo Legion Y70 took second place, and Redmi K60 took third place.

In the next price category, from 3000 to 3999 yuan (from 412 to 548 dollars), the first three places belong to iQOO Neo8 Pro, Redmi K60 Pro, and Oppo Reno10 Pro+.

In the 4,000 yuan to 4,999 yuan ($549 to $685) category, the top performers were the Red Magic 8S Pro, OnePlus 11, and Nubia Z50 Ultra.

Among the most expensive flagships priced above $686, the iQOO 11 Pro, Oppo Find X6 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Ultra are in the lead.
