Analytical company Canalys released statistics on smartphone sales in the first quarter of 2020.
The best-selling smartphones in the world are iPhone 11 and Redmi Note 8
As it turned out, the 2019 series of Apple smartphones, the iPhone 11, together with managed to conquer 10% of the international smartphone market. It takes into account all three models – iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
If you take each model separately, the first place in the ranking of the best-selling smartphones belongs to the iPhone 11 with more than 18 million. iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are in sixth and tenth place.
Second place with a noticeable margin from the leader is shared by Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T. Then come the representatives of the Samsung Galaxy A series – Galaxy A51 and A10S models. Also in the top ten included Redmi Note 8 Pro, Galaxy A20S, Galaxy A01, Redmi 8A.
According to the results of the fourth quarter of the year 2019, Redmi Note 8 became the best-selling Android smartphone in the world.
