But you still need to wait for full reviews.

Intel’s Rocket Lake-S processors have not yet come out, but they are already showing what even the company’s not newest architecture is capable of when its hands are untied.

The closer Intel’s new desktop processors are released, the better they look in benchmarks. Core i9-11900K sets a Geekbench record

The flagship Core i9-11900K set yet another Geekbench 5 record, becoming the first desktop consumer CPU to break the 1,900 mark in single-threaded mode. This is an impressive 35% more than the result of its predecessor. True, it is not known whether the CPU was overclocked in any way. The frequencies are indicated equal to 5.3 GHz, which should correspond to the reference values, but overclocking can be different – including without increasing the maximum frequency.

If you look at the results of modern AMD CPUs, then the eight-core Ryzen 7 5800X has about 1670 points. However, in multi-threaded mode the results are already very close. This probably indicates better scalability of the AMD architecture or the limitations in Intel processors associated with power limits.
