GAZ requires 28.4 billion rubles
The Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region refused to arrest the Russian assets of the Volkswagen auto concern in the second lawsuit of the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) for 28.4 billion rubles, as reported by TASS.
Recall that in March, the GAZ group filed a lawsuit, demanding to invalidate the termination of the agreement on contract assembly with Volkswagen. The amount of compensation for losses was about 15.6 billion rubles. Then the court followed the lead of the GAZ group and arrested Volkswagen assets in Russia .

Later, the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region partially granted the request of Volkswagen Group Rus to cancel the arrest of assets at the suit of the GAZ group. The Volkswagen plant in Kaluga was released from arrest .
However, this did not satisfy the GAZ group, which filed a second lawsuit earlier this week, indicating twice the amount .
Despite the fact that the court did not seize the Russian assets of Volkswagen, the proceedings continue: a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 7.
