Ember Lab co-founders Mike Grier and Josh Grier shared new details about Kena: Bridge of Spirits in an interview with British Official PlayStation Magazine.

In particular, the developers told how the PS5 controller is involved in the game. Support for DualSense in the project was announced back in the fall, and now the Griers have given examples of applications for the gamepad’s features.

According to Mike Grier, tactile feedback will be felt when using abilities and shield, and adaptive triggers will be felt when archery.

“You have a little resistance in the right hammer. It increases as the string is pulled. When the bow is fully extended, it receives a bonus to damage and accuracy, and you feel the tension in the trigger, ”the PlayStation Universe portal reports Grier as saying.

Also, Official PlayStation Magazine drew attention to the fact that Kena: Bridge of Spirits has every chance to acquire additions in the future, and Josh Grier confirmed the guesses of the journalists.

According to the developer, the game does have “opportunities for additional spirits” that Ember Lab for one reason or another could not integrate into the main game.

The release of Kena: Bridge of Spirits is expected in the first quarter of 2021 on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4 and PS5. The project was originally planned to be released before the end of 2020, but the studio faced the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
