Corsair has yet to unveil the 5000D and 5000D Airflow cases, but information published by a Romanian store gives an idea of these models.
The difference between the Corsair 5000D and 5000D Airflow cases lies in the front panel
Reminiscent of the 4000 series models, the new cases are larger and more spacious. The difference between the Corsair 5000D and 5000D Airflow cases lies in the front panel. In the first case, it is solid, with air intakes in the second – mesh to improve ventilation.
Inside the case, dimensions 520 x 520 x 245 mm are vertically divided—the lower compartment houses a power supply and a cage for two 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives. Three more 2.5-inch drives can be mounted in the top compartment on the system board tray. The case accommodates cards up to E-ATX and expansion cards up to 42 cm in length. The maximum allowable height of the processor cooling system is 17 cm. There are two slots for vertical installation of the video card for better visibility through the tempered glass side panels in addition to the seven usual slots for expansion cards.
The front wall accepts three 120mm or two 140mm fans. There are mounting points for three 120mm fans near the motherboard tray – alternatively, you can install a heatsink with three fans here. Three more 120mm or two 140mm fans are placed at the top, 120mm at the back. Includes two 120mm fans and a 6-port PWM fan hub. The I / O panel has two USB 3.x Type-A connectors, one USB 3.x Type C, and a combo audio connector.
Each model costs approximately $ 168.
