As you might guess from the name, within the Kraken, players can encounter the legendary giant-sized cephalopod. However, these meetings will not be too frequent – the monster is rarely shown.

The patch also adds new locations and missions to The Falconeer from the Cartohom cartographers guild and the Batis diving company. The quests of the first will allow you to learn more about the world of the game, and the missions of the second attract the prospect of finding ancient underwater treasures.

In addition to this, the update brought with it improvements to artificial intelligence (enemies can now perform flips in the air) and interface, as well as improvements recommended to developers by players.

According to Sala, Kraken will not be the last such update for The Falconeer: throughout 2021, the project will receive patches that “significantly expand and deepen” the gameplay.

Recall that the events of The Falconeer unfold in an open world, which will be explored in the role of the Horseman on the back of a mighty warbird. Users can discover secrets lost in the sea and join one of the factions.

The Falconeer was released on November 10 this year on PC (Steam, GOG), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Journalists did not receive the game too warmly – on Metacritic, the project had from 62 to 70%, depending on the target platform.
