Apple is going to introduce the first Mac computers based on the Apple M3 single-chip system in October this year. Bloomberg editor Mark Gurman writes about this.

October is too early for new top-end MacBook Pros or desktops, so the next iMacs, the 13-inch MacBook Air, and the 13-inch MacBook Pro should be the first beneficiaries of the new chip.

The Apple M3 will be the company’s first chip to be manufactured using the 3nm process. The new technical process will improve the performance and energy efficiency of devices.

It is not yet known whether Apple will present new items on stage or just publish press releases. In September, the presentation of the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9 is expected.
