Android 11 Go Edition can launch apps 20% faster than last year’s Android 10 Go Edition
HMD Global has officially announced that it will launch a new Nokia smartphone next week that will run a light version of Android called Android Go.
The first Nokia with Android 11 Go Edition could be released on December 15
At the moment, it is not known whether we are talking about Android 10 Go Edition or Android 11 Go Edition, which was presented in September this year. Recall that this is the third version of the Android Go Edition operating system, which appeared in 2018. According to Google, Android 11 Go Edition is capable of launching apps 20% faster than last year’s Android 10 Go Edition.
Android 11 Go Edition has been available to developers since October, smartphones running this operating system must have at least 2GB of RAM to keep multiple apps running in the background.
Prior to this, the company has already released several Nokia models with Android Go, including the Nokia C1, Nokia C2, Nokia 1, Nokia 1 Plus, Nokia 1.3, and Nokia 2.1. It is quite obvious that the new model will also belong to the low-cost segment.
The presentation is scheduled for December 15th.
