Recall that in mid-March, Kayleigh admitted that due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Game Awards 2020 (TGA 2020) ceremony can be held exclusively in digital format. And so it will eventually happen.

“Many [ask], are we going to postpone The Game Awards, since even the Oscar has been postponed? Definitely not. We’ll be sharing more details in the coming weeks, but things are heading towards [TGA 2020] being our biggest show, ” Kayleigh said.

The showman does not yet know exactly how The Game Awards 2020 will take place: “We are working on various scenarios of how we can conduct a live show and put on a small performance

At the same time, Kayleigh is already sure that the ceremony will not be limited to announcing the winners in an empty room, but the organizers will not gather “10 thousand people in one room” this year.

There is no exact date for The Game Awards 2020 yet. As a rule, the award ceremonies take place in the first half of December. The Game Awards 2019, for example, took place on the 12th.

In addition to The Game Awards 2020, Opening Night Live, the opening ceremony of Gamescom 2020, will be held entirely in digital format. The show will begin on August 27 at 21:00 Moscow time.
