We have already seen that the integrated graphics core Radeon 780M is incredibly productive for its segment . But there are no full-fledged comparisons of this iGPU with discrete cards on the Web yet. But we can already compare the Radeon 780M with the Radeon RX 6300 at least in Geekbench.
The integrated graphics core of the Radeon 780M really beats budget discrete graphics cards.
These solutions are very similar, as they have 768 stream processors based on the RDNA 3 architecture. And the iGPU is faster. The Radeon 780M scores about 36,200 points in the benchmark, while the discrete adapter scores 25,600 points. Actually, even the Radeon RX 680M is faster than the RX 6300. This can be explained by the 32-bit bus and the latter’s low GPU frequency. At the same time, the Radeon RX 780M gets very close to the desktop GTX 1650 and bypasses the mobile GTX 1650.
If you search the Web, you can find that the RX 6400 is already gaining about 40,000 points, that is, the iGPU still falls short of this model.
