The previous conclusion was published in early November

According to the instructions of the head of the West Siberian Interregional Territorial Directorate of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Vyacheslav Fedorov, the Federal Air Transport Agency canceled its report on the investigation of the aviation incident with the Ural Airlines plane. In this story, an Airbus A320 made an emergency landing in a wheat field near Novosibirsk due to lack of fuel.

The cancellation of the report was justified “due to newly discovered circumstances,” as stated in the document. To conduct further investigation, a new commission was created with a new chairman. This commission included representatives of the Aeroflot airline, the Aeroflot Aviation School, Ural Airlines and the Ural International Technical University of the Federal Air Transport Agency. In addition, the chairman of the commission received permission to involve the necessary specialists in the investigation.

The previously approved report on the forced landing of the A320, compiled by a commission including representatives of various aviation organizations, was canceled. The report concluded that the forced landing was the result of several factors, including pilot errors in determining the position of the landing gear and doors, poor fuel calculations, and suboptimal workload distribution among the pilots.

A source in the aviation authorities said that the leadership of the Federal Air Transport Agency resumed the investigation due to dissatisfaction with the quality of the initial investigation.

Earlier it was reported that the investigation into the incident involving the landing of a Ural Airlines plane in a field near Novosibirsk has been completed. The Federal Air Transport Agency published the corresponding document on November 4.
